Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility issues, including walking, standing, and transferring safely.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily care logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA or PCA certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
