Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments while maintaining accurate electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN license (or compact license with intent to obtain TN license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for specialty units
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
