Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying changes and communicating critical information to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Act as a patient advocate, educating patients and families about medical conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
