Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity via telephone triage using Evidenced-Based Protocols
- Coordinate with emergency departments for critical patient transfers
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR system
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians on care escalation protocols
- Multitask high-volume call center environment
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current IL RN license (Compact License preferred)
- 3+ years emergency/urgent care experience
- TNCC or ENPC certification required
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- ACLS/BLS certifications maintained
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
