Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take digital X-rays and develop diagnostic images for accurate treatment planning
- Manage patient flow, room turnover, and inventory of dental supplies
- Provide chairside support including suctioning, material mixing, and instrument passing
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in Nevada
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR certification and BLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and patient service skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment
