Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing patients.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient health status, mood, or behavior to the nursing team.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the patient's quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in patient records.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification or CNA license is required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
