Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear communication to patients/families about care processes
- Monitor and track patient flow throughout the department
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
- Spanish language skills highly desirable
