Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantitative forecasts and qualitative trend analysis
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation accelerators
- Design organizational adaptation protocols for emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory thinking across departments
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with compelling data visualization and narrative storytelling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-oriented consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into implemented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology adoption curves
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
