Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Operate advanced surgical technology including robotic systems
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of all surgical instruments
- Document surgical procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- BLS certification and current KY state license
- Proficiency with modern surgical equipment (robotics, endoscopic)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
