Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems and endoscopic devices
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment with our provided tracking system
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO safety standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for surgical workflows
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Proficiency with minimally invasive surgical equipment
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
