Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment according to hospital protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure operating room readiness
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems and endoscopic devices
- Document surgical counts and inventory supplies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless case turnover
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience
- Proficiency in equipment sterilization and maintenance
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and AORN standards
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
