Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment provided by our facility
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle surgical equipment sterilization and inventory management
- Document case details and equipment usage in electronic health records
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless surgical workflows
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Proficiency with modern surgical equipment and instrumentation
- BLS/CPR certification and current TB/health screenings
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique mastery
