Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care urgency using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide telehealth consultations and clinical guidance to patients via phone/video
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed clinical documentation
- Delicate emergency response coordination during critical situations
- Coach patients on home care strategies and preventive health measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and current DEA registration
- Expertise in symptom assessment and emergency protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends
- Triage certification or emergency nursing preferred
