Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies before procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle sterilization and maintenance of surgical equipment per hospital protocols
- Document case details and inventory using our digital tracking system
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience in general surgery
- Proficiency with laparoscopic and robotic surgical systems
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique mastery
- Nevada state surgical tech license
