Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Monitor patients' vital signs and sterile conditions during operations
- Handle specimens and maintain accurate surgical records
- Restock supplies and sterilize reusable equipment post-procedure
- Adhere to strict OSHA and infection control protocols
- Participate in emergency drills and continuing education
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we train you!
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to complete our paid training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (will provide training)
