Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Coordinate with remote team members for patient preparation and documentation
- Manage surgical inventory and equipment sterilization processes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide post-operative equipment preparation and case documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in general surgery
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 remote days/week)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of surgical robotics preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods during procedures
