Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with instrument passing and sterile technique
- Coordinate with remote team members via telehealth platforms for case preparation
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to OSHA/ASHP standards
- Document procedures accurately using our digital health records system
- Manage inventory and equipment sterilization protocols
- Participate in virtual team training and continuing education
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 2+ years operating room experience preferred
- Experience with telehealth coordination platforms
- Strong understanding of sterile processing procedures
- Ability to work independently with remote oversight
- BLS/CPR certification current
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Exceptional communication skills for hybrid team dynamics
