Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile field protocols and surgical environment
- Handle specimens and count surgical supplies accurately
- Operate sterilization equipment and maintain inventory
- Collaborate with nursing and anesthesia teams
- Document procedures and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 1+ years of recent surgical tech experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in fast-paced OR environments
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Flexibility for various surgical specialties
- Pass background check and drug screening
