Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and arrange surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies between cases
- Transport patients to/from surgical suites and position them appropriately
- Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and anesthesia teams to ensure seamless surgical workflows
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of recent operating room experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
