Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document health status accurately
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Telemetry, ICU, or ER experience highly valued
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
