Responsibilities

  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to strict protocols
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies

  • Count and document all surgical instruments, sponges, and needles before and after procedures
