Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and setting up instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields throughout surgical operations
- Count and document surgical instruments/sponges pre/post-procedure
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms
- Prepare and sterilize reusable surgical instruments
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of surgical tech experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent
