Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterility
- Perform sterile processing and sterilization of surgical equipment
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies for operating rooms
- Document procedural details and equipment usage accurately
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential required
- 2+ years of operating room experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols and OSHA standards
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Must pass background check and drug screening
