Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with proper instrument passing and sterile technique
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic protocols
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including laparoscopy and robotics
- Manage inventory and sterilization of reusable instruments
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of scrub experience in general surgery
- Proficiency with modern surgical equipment and robotics
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and sterile technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
