Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile surgical fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures (instrument passing)
- Maintain sterile environments per OSHA standards
- Count and track surgical supplies/instruments
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms
- Post-procedure equipment sterilization
- Document procedural data accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No surgical tech experience required
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Background check/clearance required
- Willingness to obtain CST certification
