Our 12-week paid training curriculum includes classroom instruction and supervised clinical rotations. Upon completion, you'll be eligible for certification and placement in our partner hospital network. We're seeking motivated individuals passionate about making a difference in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Monitor inventory of surgical supplies and restock as needed
- Transport patients and specimens between departments following safety protocols
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to OSHA and hospital safety standards at all times
- Maintain sterile environments and prevent surgical site infections
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior surgical tech experience necessary (paid training provided)
- Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Certification eligibility upon training completion (CST preferred)
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
