Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients safely.
- Document patient care activities and report changes in patient condition to nurses.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR certification is highly preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
