Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescription orders via remote pharmacy systems
- Verify patient information and insurance eligibility
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for medication clarifications
- Maintain inventory logs and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all digital communications
- Provide patient education on medication usage
- Support compounding operations when required
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Reliable high-speed internet and home office setup
- Kansas pharmacy technician license
- Ability to work independently while collaborating remotely
