Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plansAdminister medications and monitor patient vitals per protocols
- Document clinical notes accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families on health management
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Participate in rapid response and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- 1+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (specialty-specific certs preferred)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
