Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific safety standards
- Assist with orientation and training for new staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
