Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient flow
- Provide accurate medical information and education to patients and families
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Respond to emergency calls and de-escalate critical situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and uphold departmental standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
