Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
- Participate in emergency response and code blue procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and weekends
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
