Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, assessments, and care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred for applicable units.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different unit rotations or facility cultures.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
