Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, MedSurg, Telemetry)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (additional certifications per unit)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
