Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical, ICU, or telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Positive references from previous employers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
