Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and care activities using EMR systems
- Adhere to JCAHO and NC Board of Nursing regulations
- Maintain sterile techniques during procedures and wound care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new healthcare environments
- Ability to travel and relocate for contract duration
