Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in acute care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (specialty certifications a plus)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse healthcare environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced settings
