Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency, ICU, or medical-surgical units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana or compact state
- Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (required for most units)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
