Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Perform accurate and timely patient assessments, including vitals and medical history reviews.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, strictly adhering to safety regulations.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient safety protocols, and infection control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
