Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient histories, treatments, and progress in electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare environments and schedules.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) and DEA registration (if applicable to specialty).
