Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg settings
- Utilize provided advanced medical equipment for accurate assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR)
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and family support
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with provided equipment (e.g., GE monitors, Baxter pumps)
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts and weekend rotations
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
