Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings across Lincoln's top medical facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific compliance standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (Nebraska compact preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with relevant experience)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments and protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
- Valid driver's license for local transportation needs
