Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols for patient safety
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain compact license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU, ER, or Telemetry
- ACLS, BLS, and state-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and protocols
