Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, assessments, and interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (or Compact State License).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings and team dynamics.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
