Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain comprehensive patient records
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state with ability to obtain MN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
