Responsibilities
- Assist with complex cosmetic and restorative procedures including veneers, crowns, and implants
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Take precise digital impressions and X-rays
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for specialized procedures
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Implement patient education on post-procedure care
- Coordinate seamlessly with dentists and hygienists
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience with cosmetic/restorative focus
- Current DANB certification and Florida radiology license
- Proficiency in digital imaging systems (E.g., Dexis, Carestream)
- Exceptional knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure clinical environments
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
