Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/out processes
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient flow and resolve appointment conflicts
- Assist with medical forms and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical staff for seamless patient care
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant certification a plus)
- 1+ years of healthcare reception experience required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
