Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards
- Assess patient conditions and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Travel assignments typically last 13-26 weeks with flexible scheduling options
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications as per unit)
- BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and systems
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and health screenings
