Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Adhere to facility protocols and JCAHO standards
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
- Manage patient education and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Participate in facility staff development activities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (specialty-specific)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
