Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical exams, medical history reviews, and symptom analysis.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical findings and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to travel and relocate for contract assignments.
